Sour beer styles are fashionable, but not so easy to brew at home. The precise dosing of acids (lactic, malic, citric) makes this highly concentrated (80%) liquid barley malt extract the perfect base for sour beers. Suitable for extract brewing and mini-mash method.

What is malt extract?
Muntons canned malt extracts have been specially developed for the home brewing market. Filtered wort is thickened into a concentrated syrup using vacuum evaporation. The extract obtained by this method is a valuable source of fermentable sugars and, alongside natural colouring, gives the beer its traditional, rich malt flavour.
Ingredients: 1,5 kg malt extract (barley malt, water), acids (lactic, malic, citric).
Contains gluten.
